Today marks 100 days of Republican control of the House of Representatives:

This has left Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY)...speechless:

Leader Pelosi on Republicans' 100th day in control of the House:

100 days in the majority, and Republicans have still failed to produce a jobs agenda. The American people are waiting and Democrats are ready to work in a bipartisan way to create jobs.

Instead, Republicans will mark this day with debate on a budget that ends Medicare and does not create jobs. This builds on their record of legislation that destroys at least one million jobs.

100 days is too long to wait. Let's work together to address the number one priority of the American people: creating jobs.

Tomorrow, House Republicans will celebrate their 101st day in control, not by working on jobs legislation, but by passing the Ryan-GOP 'Road to Ruin' budget which:

Ends Medicare guarantee for seniors

Gives away tens of billions of dollars in tax breaks to Big Oil

Slashes health support for seniors in nursing homes

Gives tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas

Cuts education for children and raises college costs for nearly 10 million students

Makes tax cuts for the wealthiest permanent, adding $1 trillion to the deficit

And according to a new analysis by Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics, the 'Road to Ruin' would also cost Americans 1.7 million jobs by 2014 – with 900,000 jobs lost next year.
