NEW POLL: Majority of Americans Are Not Buying GOP Tax Plan

President Trump and Congressional Republicans have been touting for weeks that the Ryan-McConnell tax plan is a ‘middle class miracle.'  Well, the American people are notbuying it.

A new CNN poll shows a majority of Americans oppose the GOP tax framework that is in reality just another multi-trillion dollar giveaway to the wealthiest at the expense of the middle class and working Americans.

• 52% of Americans oppose the Ryan-McConnell tax plan.
• Only 24% believe they and their families will be better off under the Ryan-McConnell tax plan.
• 50% of Americans disapprove of the way President Trump is handling taxes.

The American people have spoken.  So what are Republicans waiting for?  It's time to stop their special-interest antics and work with Democrats on bipartisan tax reform that puts the middle class first and gives not one penny in tax cuts to the top 1 percent.
