Pelosi Announces Additional Committee Assignments for the 115th Congress

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi announced today that the House Democratic Steering Committee has recommended that the following Members serve on these committees for the 115th Congress.

"Education is the greatest investment our nation can make in our future to expand opportunity, create good-paying jobs, and strengthen American innovation," House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said.  "House Democrats will be strong champions of students, workers, and small business owners in our work to put the people's interests before the special interests.  On these committees and on the House Floor, Democrats will stand our ground to create a stronger America for all."

• Congressman Adriano Espaillat of New York

Small Business Committee:

• Congressman Al Lawson of Florida
