Republicans, Have You Seen These Numbers?

The American people are making it loud and clear: they overwhelmingly oppose the GOP tax scam.

As Republicans put finishing touches on their terrible tax bill this week, a newly-released Quinnipiac poll shows Americans are not falling for their antics: the GOP tax scam will raise taxes on tens of millions of middle class families in order to hand deficit-exploding giveaways to the wealthiest and corporations shipping jobs overseas.

Below are the highlights of the poll:

• 64% of American voters say the GOP tax scam benefits the wealthy the most.
• 53% of American voters disapprove of the GOP tax scam.
• 61% of American voters say the GOP tax scam favors the rich at the expense of the middle class.
• Democrats have an 8% advantage on which party American voters say can do a better job handling taxes.

And the more the American people learn about the cruel GOP tax scam, the worse it gets.
