Pelosi Statement on the Retirement Announcement of Rep. Robert Brady

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement after the announcement that Committee on House Administration Ranking Member, Robert Brady, would be retiring at the end of his term:

"For 20 years, Congressman Robert Brady has been a forceful champion for working people in Pennsylvania and across the nation. Throughout his long, dedicated career, Congressman Brady served his constituents with courage and a relentless determination to ensure every person's concerns are heard, no matter how small.

"In Congress, Congressman Brady committed himself to ensuring a bright, prosperous future for all families and became an unwavering advocate for legislation to lift up hard-working Americans by promoting affordable housing, quality health care and access to life-saving prescription drugs.
