Pelosi Spokesman Statement on President Trump’s Remarks on GOP Tax Scam in Cincinnati

Washington, D.C. – Drew Hammill, spokesman for House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, issued this statement:

"As the Dow nosedives on his watch, the President's rambling, deceitful tax scam sales pitch reached an all-time low in Cincinnati," Hammill said.

"While Speaker Ryan touts a $1.50 a week tax cut for the middle class, President Trump is desperately seeking to hide the multi-billion dollar corporate windfalls of the GOP tax scam behind meager, one-time bonuses," Hammill continued.  "Republicans have been caught red-handed enriching their wealthy corporate donors at the expense of working families, and the American people recognize the tax scam for exactly what it is."
