NEW POLLS: Trump & GOP Will be Held Responsible for Sabotaging Health Care; Americans' Approval of ACA Skyrockets

Since its collapse, Speaker Ryan and the Trump Administration have been trying to worsen their highly unpopular TrumpCare legislation that means higher costs, less coverage, gutting key protections, a crushing age tax, and stealing from Medicare.  As the Trump White House tries to negotiate TrumpCare 2.0 behind closed doors, a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll shows that the Trump Administration and Republicans will own any future problems with the ACA.

Not only do 61% of Americans say Republicans are responsible for any problems, but three in four Americans want President Trump to make the law work and stabilize insurance markets, compared to only 19 percent who think his administration should take steps to make the ACA fail and replace the law later.

This comes as Gallup says:

Fifty-five percent of Americans now support the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a major turnaround from five months ago when 42% approved and 53% disapproved.  This is the first time a majority of Americans have approved of the healthcare law since Gallup first asked the question in November 2012.

The American people support the Affordable Care Act.  It's time to set aside repeal and any administrative efforts to sabotage Americans' health care, and work with Democrats to strengthen the Affordable Care Act.
