Dear Democratic Colleague,

Today is an historic day. It is a day of fulfillment as the Democratic House passes the Biden American Rescue Plan, joining in President Biden's promise to the American people: Help Is On The Way.

In order for the glory of this legislation to be fully enjoyed by our constituents, it is important for us to inform our communities of exactly how this legislation benefits them. During the upcoming District Work Period, you may wish to give visibility to how the American Rescue Plan meets their needs: putting vaccines in arms, money in pockets, workers back on the job and children back in the classroom safely.

How the Rescue Plan Helps the American People

Because of President Biden's leadership, the American Rescue Plan enjoys 75 percent support in the country. As that messaging continues, I encourage you to hold events lifting up the legislation to be a part of Democrats' national message and to communicate directly to our constituents. A toolkit is being prepared to give guidance for how constituents can find information about the benefits of the American Rescue Plan in their lives. You may also want to prepare a franked mail or emailed newsletter to help its benefits be understood and enjoyed.
