Recess Reading: GOP Members Won't Like the Headlines as They Return Home
As House Republicans return home for recess, their local papers continue to celebrate the American Rescue Plan, reminding voters of how the law gets vaccines in arms, money in pockets, children back in school safely, and people back in jobs.
Given the positive coverage of the Rescue Plan across the country, it's no wonder House Republicans are desperately trying to distract the public from the overwhelmingly popular law that they voted unanimously to block. But, they will have a hard time running away from that vote with American Rescue Plan headlines splashed across the front pages ofnewspapersacrosstheirdistricts.
