No Rest for Success: American Rescue Plan Still Being Celebrated in GOP Districts Over a Month After Passage
Time may have passed since the American Rescue Plan was signed into law, but its incredible results for the American people are only just getting started. As the Rescue Plan delivers vaccines in arms, money in pockets, children back in school safely, and people back in jobs, House Republicans can't escape the popularity of the legislation they universally voted against.
Day after day, House Republicans are being reminded by their local papers about the valuable work the Rescue Plan is doing for their communities. And, this Sunday, it wasn't only House Republicans opening their local papers to a reminder of the bill's success and popularity, as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell received the same treatment from his hometown paper, the Courier Journal:
