Swampy, Shady & Scandalous: Americans Suffer Consequences of Trump Admin Corruption

Another day, another story about a Trump Administration official living their best life on the backs of American taxpayers.  What was once just questions about millions of taxpayer dollars wasted on luxury trips, over-priced office furniture, and sound-proof phone booths – has now been revealed as something much more nefarious.

Swampy, shady, scandalous doesn't do these guys any justice.  Examples of corruption, pay-to-play and an Administration that sells out the interest of the American people for profit, to line the pockets of their special interest lobbyist friends and corporate cronies, are piling up.

What are House Republicans doing about it?  Nada.  No oversight, no investigations, and no calls for Trump to drain his swamp.  Meanwhile, it's the American people who suffer the consequences of this Administration's corruption: dirty air, higher taxes and fewer protections from Wall Street scammers.

The Washington Post editorial today "Enough. Send this swamp monster packing," questions when that Trump will boot Pruitt from the EPA and from his corrupt Cabinet:

"Mr. Pruitt has crammed a lifetime's worth of ethical failings into less than a year and a half in office. How much longer will President Trump continue to tolerate this swamp creature in his administration?"

Good question.  But a better one is when will Republicans stand up for the American people and demand an end to this Administration's corruption and betrayal?
