Officer Fanone Risked His Life to Protect the Capitol, House Republicans Won’t Even Shake His Hand

Kevin McCarthy and his staff were ‘disrespectful,' ‘dismissive,' and ‘rude' to Michael Fanone, a DC Metropolitan Police Officer who has repeatedly attempted to meet with the Minority Leader to discuss the horrors he experienced while defending the Capitol on January 6th.

Despite claiming to ‘Back the Blue,' McCarthy and his Conference have made a habit of disrespecting the officers who protected them from January's insurrection.
