Intraparty Fighting Puts GOP Dysfunction on Full Display

Six months into the Trump Administration, here's what we know about the Republican legislative agenda: There hasn't been a single bill to create good-paying jobs or improve the lives of hard-working Americans.  In fact, a House, a Senate and a White House all controlled by Republicans head into the July 4th holiday without a single, major legislative accomplishment

GOP dysfunction was on full display this week: the Senate postponed the vote for their harmful Trumpcare bill, the House punted the GOP budget yet again until at least July, and the House today announced that votes are cancelled for Friday – the third time Friday votes have been cancelled this session of Congress.

And the Republicans' incompetency will only grow with destructive intraparty disputes – the fighting has gotten so bad even Republicans themselves are now admitting their inability to govern:

Wall Street Journal: Intraparty Disputes Stall Republicans' Legislative Agenda

"It's almost like we're serving in the minority right now. We just simply don't know how to govern," said Rep. Steve Womack (R., Ark.). "How we've been given this opportunity to govern and we are finding every reason in the world not to is absolutely incredible to me."

The only thing President Trump and Republicans in Congress have managed to accomplish so far?  Reveal their toxic agenda to stack the deck further against America's working families.

The American people are tired of Republican dysfunction and inaction.  It's time for Republicans to stop the with the infighting and work with Democrats to put forward an agenda that puts American families first.
