Pelosi Names Additional Conferees to National Defense Authorization Act Conference

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today named additional House Democrats to serve on a conference committee of the House and Senate versions of the FY 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

"Democrats stand for a strong and smart national defense," said Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.  "House Democrats are proud to fight for a robust defense budget that honors our obligations to our men and women in uniform and our constitutional duty to protect the American people.  Our Democratic conferees will work tirelessly to ensure our armed forces have the certainty and resources they need to meet the challenges of our time and will fight any reckless, partisan Republican attempts to devastate our defense or our budget."

The following House Democrats were added to the NDAA conference this morning:

House Committee on Ways and Means
