BREAKING: Top Republicans Re-Commit to Raise Drug Prices for Seniors

House Republicans are admitting their new Extreme MAGA ‘Commitment to America' Agenda is the gift that keeps on taking! The GOP confirmed this week their plan includes stealing away the lower drug prices for America's seniors on Medicare that Democrats won for them in the Inflation Reduction Act.

What they're saying: "If the courts haven't gotten to it beforehand, yeah we've got to do our job and try to defend the Constitution," Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) told Axios, saying the law is an "unlawful taking."

Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas), the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, indicated repealing the drug pricing law is a likely agenda item. "Because those drug provisions are so dangerous, by discouraging investment in life-saving cures, I would imagine that will be a top priority for Republicans in the new session," he said.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) replied "yes" when asked if he backed repeal of the drug pricing law.

Evidently, top House Republicans are fully committed to jacking up drug prices for America's seniors in order to hand hundreds of billions of dollars to Big Pharma in unjustified price hikes for life-saving medications.

The extreme MAGA "Commitment to America" promises a devastating one-two punch to America's seniors: raise drug prices and slash and privatize their Medicare and Social Security.
