Boehner Says 'No' – Again – to Bipartisan Immigration Reform

Exactly how much disdain does Speaker Boehner have for immigration reform?  Let's just say that he opposes it so much that he rejects any constructive, common sense effort in the Senate to attach bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform to the only moving – albeit extremely harmful – legislation that actually pertains to, well, immigration.  From his own lame press release:

...let me be as clear as I can be...the House of Representatives will not take up immigration reform...Nor will we accept any attempt to add any other comprehensive immigration reform bill or anything like it, including the DREAM Act

Boehner's blatant obstructionism distances him from any serious effort to reform our broken immigration system and even further away from America's immigrant community.  America needs bold leadership, not the GOP's blame-shifting and pathetic excuses to justify inaction on a top priority for the American people.  The American people deserve better.
