House Republicans in Disarray on Ex-Im Bank

In today's National Journal, House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers asserted the following about the Ex-Im bank:

"there will be a reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank…"

But that's the opposite of what House Republican Majority Leader-elect Kevin McCarthy told FOX News last month when he echoed the Tea Party faction of the GOP and said that Ex-Im bank should expire:

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Sunday that he favors letting the charter of the Export-Import Bank expire later this year, a boon to conservative groups and lawmakers who oppose the agency.

What's it going to be, Mr. Speaker?  Will your legacy of obstruction and do-nothingness persist?  It's time to act swiftly and get serious about the nation's investments.
