How unacceptably terrible can the #PayMoreForLess Bill's CBO score be?
Earlier today in the Ways and Means Committee mark-up, House Republicans blocked House Democrats' amendment requiring the CBO score to be made public for at least 7 days before a vote in the House.
They continue to dodge questions about its impact.
They're trying to discredit the Congressional Budget Office.
Republican House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady stated Republicans "are going a different direction…"
When asked about expanding quality, accessible health coverage health, OBM Director Mick Mulvaney utteredthat the #PayMoreForLess Bill was not about "insurance."
When asked how many people would be covered, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that "is not the question."
Just how bad can the CBO score actually be that they refuse to show it to the public?
