Long live the GOP Rhetoric

Before calling for the end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, see what Mr. Boehner and some House Republicans had to say about our nation's DREAMers:

"These children were brought here of no accord of their own… –Rep. John Boehner

"These children came here through no fault of their own and many of them know no other home than the United States…" –Rep. Bob Goodlatte

"…the children that were brought here by their parents at very young ages … that's a very sympathetic problem."  –Rep. Blake Farenthold

"We should look at children brought here by their parents ...they should be treated in a special way…" –Rep. Ted Poe

"There has been growing consensus in our conference to provide a solution for these children who have contributed to our country and want to continue to do so" –Rep. Trey Gowdy

"…we ought to have the compassion to say these kids shouldn't be kids without a country, and we ought to allow them the life that they deserve…" – Rep. Eric Cantor

House Republicans have truly lost their way.  Actions speak louder than words – so much for that sympathy and compassion.
