'Off the menu'..'invasion'...'son of DACA'

After suffering an unsurprising embarrassment yesterday, Boehner's updated and radicalized border bill has won the attention of Members from his extreme, far-right Conference.  See what some anti-immigrant Members had to say:

"The changes brought into this are ones I've developed and advocated for over the past two years…It's like I ordered it off the menu."  –Rep. Steve King  [8/1/14]

"[it's a] very good bill that people can be proud of," declaring that it was about "stopping the invasion of illegal foreign nationals into our country."  –Rep. Michele Bachmann [8/1/14]

"My bill not only ends #DACA but it prevents the Administration from trying to create a new ‘Son of DACA' amnesty program by executive order."  –Rep Marsha Blackburn  [8/1/14]

Again, the heartless far-right captures Boehner's gavel.
