New GOP Poll Raises Questions About GOP Talking Point

A new GOP poll released today finds some essential facts about immigration reform:

• 86 percent of Republicans & 79 percent of independents believe Congress should take action to fix the immigration system; in fact,

• 80 percent of voters want Congress to act on immigration reform this year – including 77 percent of Republicans and 74 percent of independents.

Oh, and as for their pathetic talking point about President Obama's lack of border enforcement, it "is not fooling anyone."

• Around 72 percent of Republicans and 69 percent of independents reject that lame excuse.

Mr. Boehner, drop your excuses; no one believes them – and act to reform the nation's broken immigration system now.
