NEW POLL: Americans Don't Want Planned Parenthood Defunded or #GOPshutdown

House Republicans, who had a field day yesterday bashing a major organization that provides essential services to millions across our country, need to reconsider their shameless attacks.

A new USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll released today reveals some unpleasant news for Republicans fixated on shutting down the government to attack Planned Parenthood:  the American people don't support them:

• 65 percent of Americans OPPOSE the Republican plan to cut off funding to Planned Parenthood;
• Nearly 73 percent of the American people say extremist, radical GOP Members should not make Americans suffer another #GOPshutdown over the organization;
• And if Republicans give Americans another #GOPshutdown, the GOP will be blamed overwhelmingly.
