New Poll: Boehner’s Frivolous Lawsuit Declared a Political Stunt

A new poll conducted by Public Policy Polling concludes what we've known all along: Speaker Boehner's frivolous lawsuit is a political stunt.

Here are some more key points:

• 51 percent of voters believe the lawsuit is illegitimate;
• 56 percent say the lawsuit is wasteful taxpayer spending;
• 46 percent say the suit alienates them from Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections;
• Around 58 percent of voters say the suit will not help improve their lives;
• and 63 percent say Congress should be more focused on creating jobs for the American people.

Boehner's ridiculous lawsuit is a desperate attempt to give off some aura of activity from House Republicans, which continues to continues to block legislation to create jobs and strengthen our economy.  It's time to drop this political stunt and get to work putting middle class families first.
