Pelosi Announces Additional Recommendations for Committee Assignments for Members

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi announced today that the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee voted to recommend the following committee assignments for seven Democratic Members of Congress.  The full Democratic Caucus will vote on the nominations tomorrow.

"The Members named to new committees tonight understand the urgency of our work to secure a strong future for America's families," said Leader Pelosi. "We know in their new roles, each of these members will bring forward bold vision, tireless energy, dedication to justice and an unshakable commitment to the success of our country."

The Democratic Steering and Policy Committee will continue to meet in the coming weeks to recommend additional committee assignments.
