Pelosi Dear Colleague to Members Regarding President's Letter to Rep. Nadler on Iran Agreement

Dear Democratic Colleague,

In the five weeks since the announcement of the JCPOA with Iran, I have been pleased that the Administration has provided information, clarification and outside verification for the agreement.

Today, I am pleased to forward for your review a letter from President Obama addressed to our colleague Jerry Nadler, which provides great clarity on how we go forward with the agreement. Congressman Jerry Nadler has been a champion of a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, and his leadership will be a valued force in ensuring that Iran is held accountable for honoring the agreement. Congressman Nadler's communications with the President seeking assurances from the Administration provide a valuable understanding on the path forward for all Members. I hope it is helpful to you in your decision to support the agreement, and that you can make that decision public soon.

Once again, I am grateful for the thoughtful and serious approach that Members of our Caucus are taking to this important decision. As you consult with your constituents, please let me know if you need further information to make your decision.
