Pelosi Names Conferees to Customs Bill Conference

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today named Democrats to serve on a conference committee to complete a final Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act agreement.

"The success of American workers and the strength of our economy depend on the strong enforcement of our trade laws," said Leader Pelosi. "We must ensure that our global trading partners honor their obligations on health, labor rights and the environment, and we must stand strong against human trafficking and the foreign currency manipulation that is stealing jobs from American workers."

"House Democrats are united in our concern over the impact that our trade agreements have on hard-working American families," Leader Pelosi continued. "With the leadership of our outstanding conferees, we will continue to push for a strong customs bill that strengthens American workers, American manufacturing and the American economy."

The Democratic Conferees to the Customs Bill Conference Committee are:
