Pelosi Statement on Congressman Boren Not Seeking Re-Election

Washington, D.C. - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement today on Congressman Dan Boren's announcement that he will not be seeking re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives:

"On behalf of the entire House Democratic Caucus, I thank Congressman Dan Boren for his service in Congress, his unwavering commitment to his constituents, and his leadership on behalf of fiscal responsibility and the interests of rural Americans.

"Following in his family's fine tradition of public service, Congressman Boren has spent a decade advocating for the people of Oklahoma and indeed, all Americans.  All his colleagues wish him well as he prepares for the next chapter of his career."
