Pelosi Statement on Congresswoman Giffords

Washington, D.C. - Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was released from Houston's TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital yesterday:

"All Members of Congress were elated to learn that Congresswoman Giffords was released from the hospital yesterday.  Her continued progress is an answer to the prayers of millions of Americans.

"As Gabby continues to make strides, we will keep her, her husband Mark and their family, and her staff in our thoughts and prayers."
