Pelosi Statement on Historic Election of Roybal-Allard as First Latina Appropriations Cardinal

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today released the following statement on the historic election of Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard of California as Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Subcommittee of the House Committee on Appropriations.

As Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard will lead Democrats' efforts to ensure our federal agencies have the resources needed to keep our families safe and our country secure.
