Pelosi Statement on Amy Rosenbaum Being Named White House Legislative Affairs Director

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today released this statement following the announcement that long-time Pelosi policy director, Amy Rosenbaum, has been named as President Obama's Director of Legislative Affairs. Rosenbaum currently serves as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs.

"Amy Rosenbaum's depth of knowledge and integrity have long been an outstanding resource to my office, to the White House, and for America's hard working families.

"Amy has had a hand in some of the most consequential legislative progress for American families in the past decade. Amy's strategic leadership helped craft the unparalleled productivity of the new Democratic Congress with our first 100 hours. Amy was a key force behind the development and legislative strategy that led to the enactment of the historic Affordable Care Act. In the White House, Amy played a critical role in advancing the President's historic Iran nuclear agreement.
