Pelosi Statement on Retirement of House CAO Ed Cassidy

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on the retirement of Chief Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives, Ed Cassidy:

 

"Ed Cassidy has served the House of Representatives with honor and distinction for nearly four decades.

"As Director of House Operations for Speaker Boehner and then as Chief Administrative Office of the House, Ed Cassidy earned the respect and the trust of Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle.  He has been a champion of the House, and deeply dedicated to meeting the needs of all Members.

"Ed's integrity, intellect and energy have been a great credit to the House, to the Congress and to the American people.  As Ed concludes his decades of excellent service to the House, we wish him and his family all the best in this new chapter."
