Pelosi Statement on Supreme Court's Decision on Partial Birth Abortions

Speaker Pelosi released the following statement this afternoon following the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold the ban on partial birth abortions:

I am disappointed. Criminalizing doctors for performing medically necessary procedures to save a woman's life or protect her health is wrong. The Court's decision is a significant step backwards.
