Pelosi Statement on the San Francisco Giants' National League Championship Win

Washington, D.C. -- Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement after the San Francisco Giants won the National League Championship Series Saturday night:

"It is a source of great pride to all San Franciscans that the Giants have won the National League Championship Series and are headed to the World Series.

"I look forward to watching Manager Bruce Bochy and his talented team surprise the pundits with a World Series victory.  Indeed, pundits will have much to be surprised about this fall.  Victory is in the air.

"As the winner of a friendly bet with Senator Specter, I look forward to enjoying Pennsylvania's finest Hershey chocolate, preferably dark chocolate."
