It was a banner week for Republican obstruction, delay and distraction.  But don't take it from us.  Here's a recap, see for yourself:

  • House Republicans get a foreign policy pep talk from former Vice President Dick Cheney, yes Dick Cheney.

o   MSNBC: Republicans just can't get enough of Dick Cheney

  • Speaker Boehner, Leader McCarthy and House Republicans delay a vote to fund our government – adding more speculation of a Republican Government Shutdown.

o   PoliticusUSA: House Republicans Meltdown and Cancel Vote To Fund The Government As Shutdown Looms

  • Senate Republicans voted against a constitutional amendment to remove the influence of money in politics.

Republicans should instead end this barrage of assaults on the middle class and hardworking Americans, and join Democrats in jumpstarting the middle class.
