The Rockford Register Star of Illinois yesterday reported that House Republican Deputy Whip Adam Kinzinger paid lip service on Ex-Im Bank in front of a crowd of U.S. manufacturers:

U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger: Export-Import Bank vital to all U.S. manufacturers

Reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank is crucial to manufacturers' ability export products to compete with the rest of the world, U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger told about 40 Rockford-area manufacturers at a roundtable discussion Thursday...

"I'm a fierce warrior for the Ex-Im Bank...This is essential for us to press ahead" to get it reauthorized in Congress, Kinzinger said.

Yet, this so-called, self-proclaimed ‘fierce warrior' of the Export-Import Bank has done absolutely nothing to eliminate the growing uncertainty that has been hitting American businesses and workers hard.

For over 80 years, the job-creating Export-Import Bank has helped American businesses succeed at the global level.  As Rep. Katka asks: "Why would we take that away?

It's been over a month since Speaker Boehner, Leader McCarthy and House Republicans shut down the job-creating Export-Import Bank's charter that serves at no cost to taxpayers.  Other countries continue taking advantage of the GOP's dysfunction, obstruction and distraction – and the Republican Deputy Whip has failed to urge the GOP leadership to bring up a vote now!
