On top of that, the Speaker said he and Congressional Republicans have no alternative 'yet' and are still trying to formulate one -- this after over 5 years!
It's clear that the Speaker wants to deviate the attention from his Republican Conference's dysfunctional banner week yet again, but the ultimate facts remain: while he and the House GOP have repeatedly wasted taxpayer dollars repealing, undermining and amplifying their obsession with destroying the health care law, #ACAworks for millions! Rather than joining Democrats in improving the law and providing real solutions for hard-working middle class Americans, Speaker Boehner and Republicans prefer advancing special interests' priorities – a move they demonstrated this week after passing the 'Work Harder for Less' budget that guts health care coverage and makes it harder to buy a home, save for retirement, and pay for college.
One thing is clear: when the Speaker says ACA is "not working," he means the GOP will never stop working to undermine the health security of millions of Americans.
