The Speaker is an expert in frivolous lawsuits – in fact, he and the GOP spent $2.3 million in taxpayer dollars defending discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) – losing in each case in which he intervened.

That is why the American people, who have absolutely no "appetite" for your latest move, could not agree more with your statement, Mr. Speaker.  Instead of creating a pathway for impeachment with a $500 per hour taxpayer-funded contract to sue the President of the United States, drop this frivolous yet perilous lawsuit once and for all and join Democrats in jumpstarting the middle class.
