Washington, D.C. – Drew Hammill, spokesman for Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, released this statement after a second law firm dumped Speaker Boehner's proposed lawsuit against President Obama:

"Speaker Boehner cannot find a single lawyer in the entire country – even at $500 dollars an hour in taxpayer money – to file a lawsuit that is totally devoid of any legal merit.

"The American people are fed up that their hard-earned taxpayer dollars are being used to solve John Boehner's political problems.

"In the words of one legal scholar, this lawsuit – or rather, nonsuit – continues to be an embarrassing loser for Speaker Boehner."
