This week, Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price failed to present a promised budget to the Republican Conference. But luckily for the House GOP, the Heritage Foundation has already provided rudderless Republican leaders with a budget blueprint. Now, as House Republicans race against the clock to pack these extreme, Heritage-backed ideas into their own supposedly forthcoming budget resolution, here's a time-saver: House Republicans can score themselves on the Heritage Budget by answering some simple questions.

Question: Just last year, House Republicans voted to eliminate Head Start for 46,000 children. Now, do House Republicans support completely eliminating Head Start for kids from low-income families over the next 10 years, like the Heritage Budget does?

Yes. I, House Republican, support the Heritage Foundation's plan to end Head Start for low-income children.

No. I stand with House Democrats who are fighting to protect children's access to Head Start.

House Republicans: if you answered YESto the question of whether you support ending Head Start for America's children, you're safe with the Heritage Foundation. But you can trust that the American people will score you differently.
