Gallup released key information earlier today regarding the Affordable Care Act: it's working and the uninsured rate has now sunk to a record low, 12.9 percent!

This great news, however, is at risk after CBO and Vox described the latest Republican destructive, ACA repeal bill pushed by Speaker Boehner, Chairman Ryan and House Republicans as:

  • reducing "the number of people receiving employment-based coverage—by about 1 million people";
  • raising the nation's deficit by $53.2 billion;
  • …increasing the number of uninsured – leaving many more Americans without quality, affordable coverage;
  • …altering ACA "to only require employers to cover people who work 40 hours each week…"
