September 19, 2014
On top of passing their two rehashed batches of previously-passed message bills this week, the ridiculous GOP Congress reached new heights in their ongoing efforts at distraction, obstruction and dysfunction:

What's more, before making the earliest departure from Congress to the campaign trail in 54 years, House Republicans voted to block legislation to close tax loopholes for companies that ship jobs overseas. They blocked legislation that would've provided certainty for the Export-Import Bank; they blocked legislation that would've provided equal pay for equal work, a raise in the minimum wage, the refinance of student loans – issues of importance to the American people and middle class.
