Yesterday, Speaker Pelosi held her weekly press conference and to celebrate the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, invited members of the Capitol Hill press corps and staff to bring their children to the press conference.

Congressional Republicans continue to call for repeal of health insurance reform even as news reports surface that the insurance giant WellPoint has been singling out breast cancer patients for "investigation, with the intent to cancel their policies" and even using a computer algorithm to systematically target them:

The new law in Arizona is a reminder of the need for urgent, bipartisan action at the federal level to enact comprehensive immigration reform to secure our borders, keep our nation safe, uphold the rule of law, protect our workers and our economy, unite families, and provide a pathway to legalization.

Our nation has been sustained and strengthened by immigrants from generation to generation and that is why today's action in Arizona is misguided and irresponsible. Families have come to the United States hoping for a better life and striving for a brighter future.

For years, Congressional Republicans have refused to hold insurance companies accountable while Americans lost coverage, watched their premiums increase and were denied care. Democrats, working with President Obama, have passed health insurance reform to provide Americans greater access to affordable coverage, bring down overall health care costs, help small businesses, and hold insurance companies accountable.

Reuters is reporting that the insurance company WellPoint is singling out breast cancer patients and "rescinding" their coverage after policyholders become ill:

provides support to family and others who care for disabled, ill, or injured veterans

enhances health services for the 1.8 million women veterans, including care for newborns for the 1st time in history

expands mental health services for veterans and health care access for veteran in rural areas

Today, Andrea Stone of AOL News released a list of some of the top health care myths according to the nonpartisan FactCheck.org that continue to be put forward by opponents of reform:
