Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi today named House Democratic Members to serve on a conference committee on the Interior, EPA, THUD and Agriculture Appropriations bills.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to Speaker Paul Ryan joining the religious and moral leaders of the Poor People’s Campaign in calling for an immediate end to policies that do harm to children.

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after House Democrats secured an $8.8 million funding agreement to pay interns in Members offices of the House of Representatives as part of the Legislative Branch appropriations bill:

“One year ago, in a shameful act of cowardice and cruelty, President Trump terminated DACA, forcing hundreds of thousands of brave young men and women and their families to live under a cloud of fear and uncertainty.  The transformative DACA initiative honored our country’s proud heritage as a nation of newcomers, allowing patriotic Dreamers to come out of the shadows and fully contribute to our communities and our country, making America more American.

Washington, D.C – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi joined House Democrats and individuals with pre-existing conditions for a press event, as oral arguments began in a federal District Court in Texas on Wednesday in Republicans’ Texas v. United States lawsuit to strike down protections for people with pre-existing conditions.  Democrats highlighted the urgent need to protect Americans’ health care from Republicans’ continuing attacks.  Below are the Leader’s remarks:
