Today, the Courts have once again rejected the former President’s campaign to obstruct Congress’s investigation into the January 6th insurrection. 

Mr. President, it is a sad and official honor to join our colleagues in the Leadership and welcome you and the First Lady and the Vice President to the United States Capitol.

We are here today, on Wednesday instead of our usual Thursday, because tomorrow we will welcome Majority Leader Bob Dole back to the Congress of the United States, where he will lie in state under the Capitol Dome in the Rotunda.
