I came back last night in time to root on the Ravens to have a two‑point conversion to tie up the game, to win in overtime, at the same time as the San Francisco Giants won the second of three games for the – in terms of baseball. More to come on that. It's always a unifying thing, sports, where we all root for the home team. In my case, it's San Francisco – and Baltimore as well.
Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) announced the details of a friendly wager over the National League Division Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Speaker has wagered a San Francisco delicacy, Ghirardelli Chocolate. Congressman Gomez has wagered chocolate candies from Valerie, a local Los Angeles confections shop.
