Yesterday, President Trump – aka ‘the king of debt’ – rolled out a cruel budget proposal that would sharply raise the federal deficit by more than $7 trillion, showing the compounding cruelty of the deficit-exploding GOP tax scam. Now, President Trump’s budget proposal is being slammed from all sides – including from Republicans enraged that their President has pulled back the curtain on the GOP’s deficit hypocrisy:

TODAY, the White House unveiled their infrastructure plan, claiming ‘$1.5 trillion’ to invest in ‘our failing infrastructure and develop innovative projects.’ But here’s the reality: President Trump is actually only proposing $200 billion in federal funding, while his budget even slashes critical infrastructure funding to the Department of Transportation by nearly 20 percent and the Army Corps of Engineers by 22 percent.

President Trump might (wrongly) think that the Russia investigation is a hoax, but there is one thing he cannot deny: Russia is coming for the 2018 elections.  In fact, CIA Director Pompeo said again last week that he has ‘every expectation’ that Russia will interfere in the midterm elections.

Over the weekend, Speaker Ryan bragged on Twitter about a high school secretary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania getting a raise of $1.50 per week as evidence that the #GOPTaxScam is working.  No, we are not joking. Paul Ryan was so widely and swiftly ridiculed for this that he deleted the tweet.  But doing this can’t hide the fact that he seriously thinks that tiny raises for a hard-working Americans while corporations pocket billions shows success.

On the heels of the Super Bowl, it seems like a little Monday morning quarterbacking on the release of Nunes’ bogus memo is in order.
