Pelosi to Participate in G7 Speakers’ Meeting in the United Kingdom

Washington, D.C. — Speaker Nancy Pelosi will travel to the United Kingdom this week to participate in the G7 Heads of Parliament Conference, which begins Friday, September 17 in Chorley, England. The theme of this year's G7 Speakers' Meeting is "Open vs. Secure Parliaments." In addition to formal sessions and bilateral meetings, Speaker Pelosi will present a U.S. flag at St. Laurence's Church in Chorley, to replace a flag given by American Servicemembers stationed in the area during World War II.
