Leader Pelosi.  Good morning.  Are you all ready for St. Patrick's Day?  We have a little earlier start because we have our traditional St. Patrick's Day lunch today, and it is always a happy occasion.  And while I do not have Irish grandparents, I do have Irish grandchildren named Sean and Ryan, who all of us are celebrating today.

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement after a federal judge in Hawaii issued a nationwide temporary restraining order on President Trump's repackaged Muslim and refugee ban:

"The Trump Administration's repackaging did nothing to change the immoral, unconstitutional and dangerous goals of their Muslim and refugee ban.  It was the same ban, driven by the same dangerous discrimination, and today, it met the same defeat in court.

"Yet another judge has found that the true unconstitutional purpose of President Trump's Muslim ban is revealed in the hateful rhetoric and prejudice that dominated his campaign.

"The Republican Pay More For Less bill is a moral monstrosity that will devastate working families across America.  With no way to sell it to their constituents, Republicans continue to grasp at straws to justify their disastrous bill.  Part of that effort has been Republicans' cynical and willful campaign to depress Americans' enrollment for 2017 in the affordable health coverage on the Marketplaces.
