"Holocaust Remembrance Day requires us to carry forward the message of those forever silenced. We honor the memories of the millions of Jews and others targeted by the Nazis and their collaborators by ensuring no nation ever again commits the savage brutality born of hatred and xenophobia that claimed the lives of men, women, and children.
"The historic Post-9/11 GI Bill enacted by the Democratic Congress recognized that the heroes who wear the uniform earn their benefits with their service, not with out-of-pocket fees. Yet now, House Republicans are trying to take money from our troops and their families just for wanting the education our nation owes them for courageous, honorable service.

"Hello, I'm Ben Ray Luján, and I serve the people of New Mexico's Third Congressional District. In just a few days, President Trump will complete his first hundred days in office.
During a stop here, Pelosi pointed to recent protests at some GOP lawmakers' town hall meetings and predicted more people will be covered under the law a year from now.
"What the Republicans are doing with their bill, it's so horrible that it has been a great promoter for the Affordable Care Act," Pelosi said. "People have said, ‘No way, don't take away my affordable health care.' So they have helped us actually."
Pelosi was in Austin today as part of a tour that's included stops in Los Angeles and New Orleans.
"What we saw now is people organically, spontaneously speaking out," said Pelosi. "We are on a roll with this."
"TrumpCare is a moral monstrosity that will devastate seniors, children and hard-working Americans, and Republicans have decided to make it even worse. Republicans' latest plan is to expose Americans with pre-existing conditions to staggering new health costs.
