Thanks to you, yesterday was an historic day in the Congress of United States. Because of the unity, strength and spirit of our Democratic Caucus, we have lifted up the Biden agenda and are delivering on our promises For The People: lower health care costs, bigger paychecks and cleaner government. Yesterday, we moved forward on all three of these priorities by adopting the budget resolution, advancing the bipartisan infrastructure bill and passing H.R. 4, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2021. This key bill finally restores the full strength of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, after the Shelby County v. "The FDA's full approval of a coronavirus vaccine shows Americans can have full confidence in the safety and effectiveness of a vaccine that has been painstakingly studied and reviewed. For those who have been reluctant to get vaccinated, this long-awaited approval reflects the extraordinary rigor and scrutiny that FDA has applied in reviewing millions of cases to ensure that this vaccine is safe.
